98th percentile graphs

Hey

We’d like to have also optional 98th percentile instead of the basic 95th percentile in our port usage graphs (and billing).

Why? We are a small ISP and we’d like to offer our end customers a flexible gigabit burst for let’s say a typical 100Mbit fiber connection. I think it would be the best way to measure our customers bandwidth usage based on 98th percentile instead of 95th because 95th is just too loose/flexible for this kind of measurement. With 98th we could drop off the top 2% of bandwidth peaks in each month.

Maybe there could be use for this feature/graph type in general? I guess this shouldn’t be a big deal since it’s pretty much just modifying the existing 95th percentile calculation formula but I will leave it to someone who knows where it’s written etc.

Thanks in advance and for keeping up the good work!
