Add host and...Whoops, looks like something went wrong. Check your librenms.log

Hi there,

When we try to add Linux host we recieve that error:

Whoops, looks like something went wrong. Check your librenms.log.

====================================

Component Version
LibreNMS 1.56-41-g1501f43
DB Schema 2019_02_05_140857_remove_config_definition_from_db (145)
PHP 7.2.22
MySQL 5.5.60-MariaDB
RRDTool 1.4.8
SNMP NET-SNMP 5.7.2

====================================

[OK] Composer Version: 1.9.0
[OK] Dependencies up-to-date.
[OK] Database connection successful
[OK] Database schema correct
[FAIL] The poller (localhost.localdomain) has not completed within the last 5 minutes, check the cron job.

The only way to add device is adding forcing no snmp/icmp and later change snmp settings.

Help please

Can you please post the full error from your librenms.log?

Sure,

[2019-10-19 19:59:12] production.ERROR: Call to undefined function get_main_serial() {"userId":2,"exception":"[object] (Symfony\\Component\\Debug\\Exception\\FatalThrowableError(code: 0): Call to undefined function get_main_serial() at /opt/librenms/includes/discovery/os/ios.inc.php:52)

That is a really odd error…

You should validate your install: ./validate.php as the librenms user
