I’ve added a SNMP module to our generator for monitoring. I’ve added the DSE 892 device to my LibreNMS however I haven’t got much out of it. I’ve downloaded the MIB file from the device via webGUI. Will adding the MIB file to LibreNMS help ? If so how can I do that ?
Ok from reading forums and Ive done this so far. Download the MIB file from the device web GUI and create a file in opt/librenms/mibs
Do I have to create a yaml file here “/opt/librenms/includes/definitions/discovery” ??
Any help with the format of that yaml file ? I notice most of those yaml file have the MIB file name in opt/librenms/mibs referenced. I’m trying to do this for a DSE 0892-01 Gateway
