I try to explain to you
I don’t receive email for alerte when my device is down.
But when i test via script , i receive an email. * Test rule via ./test-alert.php -r 24 -d -h sw-test1.reseau.nantes.net is Ok
But when i cut off power my device, i don’t receve an email.
Why not use the device down alert rule from the collection for testing?
Check librenms.log for errors.
Also, you are using sendmail instead of smtp so smtp configuration is not used (but you have configure it)
It’s good now.
I forgot to write in my crontab the entry of the alerts.php script.
