I’ve built an alert that tells me when a card goes down in one of my systems, but I’m getting a false positive on a couple of systems because at one time I had a card in those systems but have since pulled it out, so libre is letting me know that a card is down in those systems. I can’t seem to figure out how to tell my alert rule that the card was removed on purpose and it doesn’t need to alert me anymore. Anyone have any suggestions?
Let me also add that I have Disable Polling and Ignore Alert Tag turned on, on those ports. I’ve also told Libre to rediscover the device.
So I think this configuration solved my issue. I just need to test to make sure new alarms will come in using this rule.
Nope, new cards going down won’t trigger alert. Back to the drawing board.
