So, I have the Billing module working, that is to say, I started it a few weeks ago.
I set the “Billing Day” to 1, as to start the quota measuring every 1st of the month.
I’ve set the quota to be 750GB for a specific port/
However, it’s now the 1st of September and it still does not show the new billing period’s usage.
Please, can someone tell me how I get it to start traffic usage measuring today?
The transfer graph is always shown in days (imgtype=day). You can only see up yesterday (i.e. for every full 24h period, midnight - midnight)
I understood that part, but the non-graph info above it is also not showing the usage of today.
Strangely, the ‘rolling month’ already shows the 1 sept traffic, and it updates that as the minutes pass…
So shouldn’t the non-graph part do the same, i.e. show the current traffic as of 00:00 sept 1,
because it’s part of the current usage bill actually?
Is there also a way to link to the images where they show the latest, not a data entry from to point?
Currently, a rolling 24 hour image link shows as:
/graph.php?type=bill_historictransfer&id=1&from=1693515600&to=1693602000&imgtype=hour&width=1190&height=250
How do I make that into a link showing the latest image, always? So where the from= and to= values are a static given yielding the latest image.
Same for the rolling month graph in the Traffic Graphs page. How do I externally show the rolling month graph as always the latest one? If I can do those two things, my previously mentioned problems would be solved.
Billing will roll to a new month at the end of the 1st day.
The rolling graphs already show and include the current day’s usage/traffic flow (also that of the first date of the bill, since they’re rolling). What I would like to achieve is have a way to show these two (rolling 24h and rolling month) images, and/or a text-version of the monthly usage externally (outside of librenms, within the LAN).
Currently the only way to show traffic usage is by logging in and clicking towards the traffic bill for a certain port. This is not needed for most to just view the traffic usage of the day/month.
To allow access to graphs unauthenticated see here: Authentication Options - LibreNMS Docs
You can also share graphs with a key to view them now.
