Hi Team,
I’m monitoring a lot of Virtual Machines based on Linux. As Hypervisor I’m unsing Proxmox. The hypervivor is passing physical informations like termperature to the VM.
If I add the VMs to my montoring on Librenms they are discovered as server, and all this parameters are colelcted, so that I have the temperature of my CPUs available in the system for about 25 times.
This is not realy usefull for me, because of the amount of data, the load on the CPU and on the fact, that each VM has own warning and alerting levels - which is a real pain.
So in my opinion it would make sens to create a additional device type called VM, where no physical parameters are collected.
