Email Subject Line

Please simplify the email Subject line…this helps for those monitoring emails for issues and want to know the state within the Subject line:

Alert Down: Device Name
Alert Port Status: Device Name
Alert Utilization: Device Name
Alert Recovered: Device Name
Alert Sensor Under Limit: Device Name
Alert Sensor Over Limit: Device Name
Other similar nomenclature for ones I might have missed.

My email client cuts off some of the subject line especially on devices with longer DNS names so I can’t see the issue without fully opening the email. The Subject should follow the KISS principle with more detail in the body.

The subject line (As all parts of the email) is fully configurable. Just do it as you like for your email client/server/flavour :slight_smile:
You have a extensive set of Templates as in a catalog, and you can add/customize them .
