Empty MIB definitions list

Hello guys,

I just started to test and learn LibreNMS, but I could not resolve my MIB files problem.
If I open the Overview/MIB definitions menu, the list is empty, always.

I ran validated.php, everything is OK.

Do you have any idea why? I think it is not normal, based on the LibreNMS demo site, where is a very big list there.

Thank you!

Hello Evin,

did you follow the doc?

http://docs.librenms.org/Extensions/MIB-based-polling/

Hello Kevin,

thank you your answer!
I followed it, but I’ll check it again, just in case. Probably I just missed a little thing, just I don’t know yet what.

Also if I want to add/update official HP switch MIB files, is this “How to add a new device MIB” what I need?

Yes if you want it to graph from the mib: http://docs.librenms.org/Extensions/MIB-based-polling/#how-to-add-a-new-device-mib

I think I found out why is my MIB list empty: I added a Cisco 2960 switch, and now it’s not empty.
So probably my HP switches (Aruba 2530) and HP ILO4 is not supported fully by MIB?!?

I downloaded the official mib files from HP (http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04272529 and https://h10145.www1.hp.com/downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=J9775A&lang=&cc=&prodSeriesId=), but there is a lot of files. I don’t know where and how to start.

I read the “How to add a new device MIB”. Also OID-s are known by LibreNMS, just no associated MIB.
