Extreme XOS VLAN Graphs

We’re in the process of migrating to Lib reNMS but seeing VLAN graphs are not being populated for Extreme devices.

We’re using the method of graphing located here: https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-monitor-traffic-in-and-out-of-a-vlan

The standard counter in the ifEntry table for the VLAN interfaces never increments, so they are graphed as 0 by LibreNMS.

I’m not sure if this counts as a feature request or a PR so if I need to raise it on GitHub then I can do so.

Thanks!

Just noticed after your request that vlan graphs empty on Extreme XOS switches

Can anyone get us the output of this: snmpbulkwalk -OUneb -v2c -c COMMUNITY HOSTNAME .

@laf here is output https://p.libren.ms/view/a4a05d5a btw i didn’t noticed oids from @MattJepp link

That’s not helpful then :frowning:

Do you see anything in your debug under .1.3.6.1.4.1.1916. that indicates it’s VLAN info?

@laf @MattJepp Ops sorry i missed device config part of the this doc. After i enabled vlan stats on this device - oids present:

.1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.2.8.2.1.8.1025.15.118.50.52.45.83.119.105.116.99.104.45.77.71.77.84 55

Mind updating the snmpbulkwalk run so we can simulate this?

@laf Sure, new snmpbulkwalk https://p.libren.ms/view/30de69ab

@laf I know you’ve probably got bigger fish to fry but is there any more information you guys need to get this into the queue?

I don’t supposed there’s any progress here?

I’m having the same issue, you guys don’t have an update for us please.

As i understand we need to implement specific XOS discovery and polling module for this feature, as this data not visible inside snmpbulkwalk imo.

Hello.
LibreNMS didn’t show any vlans on extreme networks x650-24x switch.
