Getting error after installation

My cent os version is 8 and php version is 8 also but after installing the libre NMS , I am getting the error when i am validating the PHP.

[root@localhost ~]# sudo su - librenms
[librenms@localhost ~]$ ./validate.php
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘=’ in /opt/librenms/vendor/symfony/string/Resources/functions.php on line 34

I’d suggest going back over the install docs again and re-running all of the commands.
