Github help

I’ve made several changes to the LibreNMS CSS, HTML & Transports pages which has caused the autoupdates to fail due to code changes.

I need to understand how to fork LibreNMS on Github, but really don’t know where to start and don’t want to lose my custom changes.

I have a Github account, can someone provide a run down of the steps I need to follow to allow me to, fork, update my code with the latest LibreNMS version, merge my custom changes and then stay up to date please?

I’m still on an old release of LibreNMS due to the custom changes…

Thanks
Wayne

Well… Im not git expert but if you think your changes could benefit the community and the software itself, please try to PR your changes.

Take a look at https://docs.librenms.org/Developing/Using-Git/

Remember to use a different directory (or machine) than your production one!
