I am new here and have just started to implement LibreNMS as a Network-tool.
I wonder if there is a way to make the system add and setup the polling/alerts after My criterias?
For example in a Cisco 29-series Switch we use uplink ports (1/0/27 and 1/0/28) and 2-3 VLAN interface.
All other ports is just for client access. So if i discover 600 switches and want it to automaticly ignore all ports exept
uplinks and vlan interface is that possible?
We have variety of options to auto ignore ports but I don’t believe any will work for you. Only option is to manually disable the ports.

Too Bad! It would be great to make some sort of “Device” Template that should be used when you add
a device that matches. And then apllied ignorelist on generic ports/vlans etc that you dont want it to poll info about/from!
It is going to take a great deal of time to adjust the basics on 6-700 accessswitches.
