How to run discovery module immediately after snmp scan?

Hello everybody,
I would like to know if it is possible to run discovery module immediately after snmp scan has finished.
Moreover, I would like to know if it is possible to use a poller module as a discovery module and viceversa.

Discovery runs within 5 minutes if using the cron, almost right away if using the dispatch service.
No, they perform different functions.

Thanks for your help. I have another doubt. What is the difference between using discovery.php and the discovery-wrapper?

discovery.php runs 1 discovery at a time, the wrapper can run multiple simultaneously (but all it does is call discovery.php to do the work)
