Make sensor presence permanent?

Any idea, how to make sensor permanent?

Right now I’m having an strange issue with MikroTik.

Basically, when there are 0 wireless clients connected, interface wlan will show as down.
Trouble is that that interface has sensor “signal” tied to it, and if it is in down state for some time, LibreNMS will delete that sensor. Only way to get it back to show is to connect with something (or wait untill someone connects) to wireless and rediscover device.

Any ideas how to avoid such behaviour?

From LibreNMS Device event log:
|2018-06-15 12:33:43|System|Sensor Deleted: signal routeros 2 wlan2 Signal|
|2018-06-15 09:30:07|wlan2|ifOperStatus: up -> down|
|2018-06-15 09:30:03|System|Signal wlan2 Signal above threshold: 0 (> -30 )|
|2018-06-15 06:33:47|System|Sensor Updated: signal routeros 2 wlan2 Signal|

Still looking for a solution…any ideas?

Do you have “selected port polling” enabled?

No idea, I don’t seem to find such setting?

EDIT: Found it, it is disabled. Should I enable it?

No, the purpose of that setting is to stop polling disconnected ports, and i tought it could be related.

seems not to be the case.
