Option to rename the Operations field for alerts

I see how the new operations update has added itself as a dropdown to every alert, the issue I’m having is that the operation name was auto-grabbed using existing alert names. Are there any plans to ‘show’ the operations on a page where they can be renamed? The way I named my original alert rules was often by a specific switch and/or port for a specific switch name and now if I create a new alert I only have operation names that reference previously created alert rule names.
