Hi,
I’ve been asked if it is possible to integrate the reason why a port is displayed as “down”. For example “errdisable”, “802.1x failure”. I don’t know if every device can serve these information using SNMP. But maybe Cisco can?
Thanks.

I don’t believe this info is available in the standard IF-MIB mib
While searching a bit I too believe that this wouldn’t be a standard IF-MIB. For Cisco I found this supportforum entry:
The portAdditionalOperStatus seems to be integrated in the CISCO-STACK-MIB. However this is only Cisco and not a multi vendor thing.
