Is there a way for custom_descr groups to have a UI renderer like the “Customers” type, grouping traffic by description rather than like Peering/Core/Transit which groups every interfaces matching ?
Concept is to create a group per site with a custom group per site and a description depending on the layer, eg interface description
PARIS: Aggreg (Remote Node / Interface)
PARIS: Distribution (Remote Node / Interface)
If we were to use the regular Customers Group, it’d be unreadable quite fast due to the number of sites and would force us to use longer descriptions to achieve it.
We’d like to use it in order to group EDGE/CORE/AGGREG ports per site instead
