RHEL an PHP Versions for LibreNMS

Hi,
i currently use LibreNMS with RHEL 8 and as you know RHEL had is own PhP Support. So PHP 7.4 will be supported until 2029 and it is garantied to run stable on this deployment.

So my question is, is there any way to stay at php 7.4 with the latest libre?

We didn’t want to use remi because if there is an issue you didn’t have any support from rhel…

Hello there is no way to use php 7.4. Maybe use the docker version?

Could you run on Alma or Rocky, reinstalling the rhel host if/when need arises?

thanks for your feedback, but I can’t switch from rhel and I wouldn’t.
So the only possibility would be to use docker.
