The RRDCached documentation is out of date. Is it safe to still use this guide for Ubuntu 16 as well as for Ubuntu 22.04? I performed the guide, but after that, Poller Performanc shows an error … (No graphics, “Error”)
That graph doesn’t seem to like rrdcached.
What makes you think the docs are out of date? There is and edit button in the docs to send updates.
Hello, that’s right that I could theoretically adapt the documentation. Unfortunately, I’m no expert in programming at all, and if the poller graph “don’t like” RRDChached, I’d rather just stay away from it until there’s a solution to this problem. I just figured it would be better to use RRDChached. I’m already aware that this project lives from the collaboration - only I’m too stupid.
Give yourself a little credit
rrdcached is much better for sure. I just think no one has cared enough to dig into why that particular graph doesn’t work usually. Could be something like an open file handles limit.
