could not find any info bout this, so please excuse if this question is very dumb…
I want oxidized to connect to some device which are available only via serial connection.
Is this possible somehow or are ssh/telnet/http… the only options?

This is more an oxidized question than a LibreNMS question, but basically, you can convert serial to telnet/ssh/etc with a few unix commands, or with a terminal console device.
That being said, if we get back to LibreNMS, the monitoring require IP connectivity, ping replies, SNMP or nagios plugins … So a serial only device cannot be monitored via LibreNMS anyway.
