Show list updates on dashboard

I am using the plugin OsUpdates but I am wondering if it is possible to show the plugins per server on the dashboard? For instance:

server01 - 8
server02 - 12
server03 - 2

etc.

Sure you would have to build and code a widget for the dashboard.

I build a PHP script which shows an output… but how can I add a widget to show custom HTML on my Dashboard?
