SNMP PAE on Cat9300 802.1x

Sorry, this is a very advanced question. We have written some additional code to help us Identify PAE 802.1x Hostnames that are connected to our switches…very much like the new NAC feature.

Both our code and the NAC feature in Libre fail on our 9300 models. The SNMP OID we are using is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.220.1.11.1.4
On this model switch it appears this OID has been removed… this may be the wrong forum, but I’m a little desperate…

If the current OID in use is not available, there is not much you can do, except :

  • Find another OID that provides the same data, and create a patch for LibreNMS
  • Ask Cisco (this will finish in a dead end most probably, but at least you tried)
