Hello… Does anyone have issues with LibreNMS having an issue with special characters? I have $ within my switch’s snmp config and it does not work. As soon as I remove the $ it is ok. Is this expected behavior?
Found this looks like was issue b4… idk if would help you.

Hi,
I am having issues adding the device using the GUI while adding the same device using the CLI works without issues; see below. What could I be wrong?

It should help as this isn’t an issue in librenms afaik. Either escape the characters or wrap them in quotes if doing it via the cli.
It doesn’t work cli or within librenms web frontend. Only if I don’t place the $ does it work. Then I can snmpwalk and use librenms.
-bash-4.2$ ./addhost.php localhost.localdomain @bH\$\$Epq v2c
Added device localhost.localdomain (275)
