SNMP v3 for Windows Servers

Hi, I try to search over google and in this forum and didn’t get really good information about how to collecting information from windows os in a secure way.
There is a way to collect information through SNMP v3 or something else?

Thanks

Windows 2012 does not Support SNMP: SNMP is deprecated. Instead, use the Common Information Model (CIM), which is supported by the WS-Management web services protocol and implemented as Windows Remote Management. • https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa384426(v=vs.85).aspx

And LibreNMS cant help with CIM?

Personally I’d settle for 64bit interface counters. And no, librenms doesn’t support cim at the moment, it’s a long made request but nobody’s stepped up. I had a bit of a look but people reported problems using the php soap library. Zenoss has some python code which might be worth checking out.

I understand. I will check zenoss and zabbix
