Strange status results

Hi All

Just a quick question to a strange observation. I’ve found a couple of times now that a device will show status down even though another device that is connected to it, shows status up (ie. wireless device will show down while the camera that is connected to it shows up). Why would this happen?

Check the Event log to see if its down from SNMP or ICMP.

Just got another one and checked and it was ICMP. When I pinged the device though it was there.

Read the performance docs and if it doesn’t help adjust the icmp options for that device.
