If you want to change it globally and you’re using cron then edit /etc/cron.d/librenms
If you are using the Librenms-service script then you can edit the discovery time in /poller/settings under the WebUI, Click Advanced then change Discovery Frequency (Seconds)

The Discovery Frequency (Seconds) is now 21,600 seconds.
It was 300 seconds before. I hope that helps a little!

Holy cow! 300s for discovery is a bit crazy. By design discovery is supposed to be allowed to take almost as much time as it wants (because it is not graphing anything).
The default frequency is 6 hours, so you are back to default.
Yes, I’m profoundly ignorant about these aspects of networking…until the other day, I wasn’t at all clear on the two phases (discovery and polling).
Now I’m making up for lost time!
