I’ve enabled billing to see the monthly quota and was able to create an alert for those being close to being reached, but it would be way more logical to receive alerts for daily usage exceeding (or nearly exceeding) a certain threshold.
Is there a way to get this done in librenms? I’m talking data transfer over a port (In+Out traffic flow), not bandwidth. Although of course high bandwidth usage should be an interesting method to achieve a similar result (knowing who or what is using all your data).
We currently have a fair use allowance of 1TB of transfered data (In+Out traffic to/from the world online) per month, we get warnings from our ISP when we seem to reach 750 GB a month, so it would be ideal to have librenms warn us internally when we go beyond 25 GB for the ‘rolling last 24h’ or something. Can this be done? If not, I’m surprised it’s not in there yet, because this is a much wanted feature these days. Flat rates are a thing of the past, at least where I live… if only for the energy bill going to the ISPs/connectivity-brokers…
