I have got the latest version installed on another latest version of Ubuntu server and want to un-install the old version from the old Ubuntu server. Appreciate if someone can guide me through and can point me on a guide to do that
What’s the reason to do that?
Do you have any issues?
LibreNMS updates old files with the new ones and has built in checks to verify all files are correct.
No issues. I have got a clean install (updated) on a new server and works out well. So I want to remove the old one on the old server
To uninstall it should be enough to remove /opt/librenms
(or the dir you stored it), remove the database and the user, remove the LibreNMS Cron file, restore your apache2 or nginx config, remove the LibreNMS user from Linux and restore your firewall and SE Linux settings.
Afaik there is no uninstaller.
Probably Ill leave apache2 ?? I’ve also got smokeping running on this came server
Yeah, sure.
Just undo changes made for LibreNMS in apache2.conf.
Test will stay as it is.
In other words just do the opposite like you’ve done for the LibreNMS installation.
