So I received some alerts about some of my things needing love (SSL certs in this case) which is fine. Went to solve that.
However I noticed only a few of the SSL cert checks had fired recently, when I expected ALL of them to be alerting me at this time (only 2 out of… 15? were alerting me).
So I went to check web validation and found:
Okay, I gotta go fix stuff… but I need to be alerted when the poller is not running or things haven’t been polled in a while…
So I went to add a new rule, only to find I already had one that SHOULD HAVE alerted me polling was down, but… has not…
I’m using the template from the community… and cannot figure out why this isn’t alerting me or firing…
Can anyone help me figure out why the rule isn’t triggering for devices unpolled for longer than the threshold???
I’m gonna go fix the other issues now so unsure how to reliably reproduce this issue after I fix it.
