Hello we have a centos 7 server running our libre it has version 1.52 is their a newer version that is still compatible with centos 7.

As long as the PHP, Python and DB prerequisites are covered, you can upgrade your LibreNMS instance.
The safest way to go is to leave the automatic upgrades running. That way, you get a chance to upgrade the prerequisites as time goes by, instead of dealing with a huge gap at once.
