LibreNMS version 25.6.0 was released on June 16th, 2025.
We want to thank every one of the 24 contributors to LibreNMS this month. A decrease in contributors from last month again but some of that is because the focus has been on code clean up and improvements. Because of this, we do have a larger number of outstanding pull requests than we’d like, we will get round to reviewing them, please just be patient.
A big thank you to @murrant and @Jellyfrog for all of the work they have put in to cleaning up the legacy code base and removing / reducing the number of errors across the board. It’s amazing to see you helping push LibreNMS forward. For those on the daily release, you will have noticed quite a few issues in the last week, this is because we are now surfacing those errors rather than suppressing them. We believe that the majority of issues are now ironed out but as a precaution we have disabled the error logging for this release to ensure stability.
It’s also worth a shout out to Npeca75 who has been doing amazing work in converting some of our device support to yaml or more up to date coding standards.
Make sure you thank them for their time and effort

Flagging breaking changes:
- Add deprecation notice for old style alerts. This code is being removed so if you are now seeing a message about deprecated alert rules then please address this before 25.7.0 (#17752) - laf
- Convert Alpha Compas sensors to YAML. This has led to the loss of some health data due to fixes that needed to be done as part of the conversion. (#17565) - Npeca75
- Move definitions in to resources/definitions. We have posted about this to let people know but the overall paths for the yaml discovery and definitions have now moved. Please see the announcement (#17341) - murrant
Notable changes in this release:
- CSV Table export (#17310) - dot-mike
- Dashboard shared admin permissions (#17160) - rhinoau
- Big document and WebUI config review (#17771) - laf
- 17 devices with new or updated support!!
- Many other features and bug fixes
We still have a busy pipeline of pull requests to review, if you can help with any testing then please do get in touch.
You can check out the Pull Requests on GitHub and give feedback on them to help them get merged.
