I started to use the Ping only feature in Librenms for devices without SNMP. We are trying to move away from Cacti. Is there a way to add the device by ip address with a description via the addhost.php? If I add only ip i still have to go back to add a description so we know what the device is vs using the sysname with snmp. We have a lot of devices to move over.

Will have the same situation in the not so distand future. Sugestion: if You move over a lot of devices, You are for shure using the API. Checking on update_device_field might be worthwhile.
