Adding devices to Virtual Box install

Apologies if this question is extremely easy to answer but I can’t seem to figure it out.

I have the ubuntu 20.04 .ova running on Virtual Box and can access the WebUI and SSH no problem. I have the localhost as a device in WebUI and I am starting to find my way around.

However, when I hookup to my network I can’t get any other devices added. If I try to use a bridged network config in VirtualBox I lose access to the WebUI, and I have tried forwarding port 514 for NAT to see if it will be able to discover that way, but still no luck. Do I need to allow the port for NAT in ubuntu as well.

Is there anything obvious I am missing?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
