I have LibreNMS monitoring 90 switches, mostly HP ProCurve with a couple of Netgear’s dotted hear and there.
I am currently configuring the alerting on these devices. I have successfully created an alert rule which will email me if LibreNMS loses ICMP connectivity with a device, essentially “ALERT - device is unreachable, take some action”
This works great, however, I don’t really want to have to create an alert for every kind of alert type (over temp, failed fan, failed PSU etc…) Is it possible to create a general rule, perhaps something that would only trigger and email on the more serious events reported by a switch, without having to define each individual event type?
