Alerts being sent double?

Simple device down alert but for some reason both the down and recovery emails are coming twice, not sure why.

Single transport group with a single member transport which is my direct email

It’s a simple macros.device_Down = 1 critical, Max 1 Delay 600, Interval 0, transport set to the Group i mentioned

I’m wondering if it’s because i have the “default alert” set for the transport member… i just disabled it but haven’t had an outage yet to see if it causes a duplicate still.

@cchance27 known bug, there is a post here about it somewhere. The problem is the system cannot remove duplicate emails in the list. Often the problems is transport emails + global email settings


Ah ok removed that default contact will see if that fixes it… That said i kind of forgot that field even existed since the new transport stuff was added.
