Alerts: BGP number of prefix received

Hi,

Is it possible to create an alert so every time we get the message below we get notified?

000253: Feb 4 13:47:52.523 EST: %BGP-4-MAXPFX: Number of prefixes received from 111.111.111.111 (afi 0) reaches 337589, max 400000

where is that message shown?

Cisco router logs.

Yes but in librenms …syslog or eventlog?

The logs are not showing in librenms… not showing under event logs and in librenms syslog for this device is blank. The log I posted is directly off Cisco console.

So the first step is : you configure LibreNMS to get the Syslogs …

Starting from this, when you’ll see your syslogs in LibreNMS, you’ll be able to try to build the alert. If you do not succeed, we’ll help you of course.
