I have 5 dashboards, they populate the data/graphs w/o any issues. If I add a new widget, fill out the information and click set, the existing graphs disappear and my only options are Dashboard name, Add widgets, remove widgets, delete dashboard. This happens for 2 of the 5 dashboards where I tried to add a widget (graph, specifically). The server is virtualized, I can roll back to the point before I add the widget, but adding a widget will cause the error to occur again, I’ve confirmed this three times.
I ran the validate.php command, no errors, no failures, everything seems ok.
Sorry, I didn’t see a question and there isn’t really any info in your original post. Dashboards are working fine for me other than an issue with the session expiring sometimes, but there is a fix pending for that.
I had the server restored to a month prior, that’s as far back as I can restore. I edited an existing dashboard with a new widget and when clicking ‘update’ that’s when I see all the existing graphs disappear. I created a new dashboard and added a widget for a device that I added about an hour ago and while it did NOT disappear when I clicked ‘update’ I do see it saying ‘Error Drawing Graph’ and I also added a widget for a known device that I know works, but that also displays ‘Error Drawing Graph’ when I click update.
Is it possible to export the devices in librenms? If I have to start over, it will be a lot of devices to add, but it would be helpful to know if I can extract a config/devices file.
Looks like it works fine for you. I think something may have gotten corrupted on my server, I lose all the graphs when I click update. I don’t think I have a choice but to start over, I’m not sure what else to do…
Everything is fine until the last picture, that’s what ends up happening if I tried to edit an existing dashboard. If I create a new dashboard and edit that, I see the new graph.
I have no idea if I am out of space. I’m not sure how to delete a graph if I can’t see them. I’ll see if another dashboard has less graphs being displayed, but when I tested with another dashboard I had the same issue and I doubt that I selected the two dashboards with the same exact amount of existing graphs, but I suppose that is possible.
The current library we use for the dashboard has a max number of widgets it can have. Does this happen when you have one widget and add another or just when you get to a larger number like 9 or something?
I made a new dashboard and I was able to add 3 test widgets, this issue happens when I edit an existing dashboard. I’m not sure how many widgets were on the page before I added the new one and experienced my current issue.
Personally, I don’t think I have that many widgets on a dashboard, I’m surprised nobody else is experiencing the same thing.
Does LibreNMS auto-update? I haven’t done an update in a long time.
Ok, well that’s good (not being sarcastic). Apparently something in the update broke the dashboards or I am maxing them out w/o knowing there is a limit.
Any update on this? I’d like to continue using LibreNMS, but if there is no answer, I can’t proceed, too much work and time creating these graphs only to have them disappear.
