I setup libernms ova on vmware and all is working great except. I have multiple synoloy devices with different hostnames and ip address. when trying to add any other devices it keeps telling me there is already a device sysname: synology. I have been through all the synolgy devices and can find no reference to this name anywhere. will librenms not simply use the hostname and ip address. Where is this sysname coming from? I did see some other post about turning on duplicate sysnames but warning against it. Thanks for any help in advance.
I found it under the snmp config in the synology there was the device name synology for anyone else that ever runs into this.
