There is alert notification for BGP session down, which I’m getting notified ,I’m trying to mute it, and after 30 minutes it automatically moves to unmute state , is it normal behaviour ? how can I overcome it
can you post a screenshot of that rule and how you have it set up?
try changing the “max alerts” to 1
But in that case, it will notify me only one email, I want to get email every 10 minutes unless I decide to do forced mute
i gotcha…im not sure then.
If an alert un mutes itself then it most likely means that the alert cleared and is then triggered again.
Please review eventlog as it will tell you in there.
