I would like to know the exact meaning of ‘BGP uptime’ for a BGP session which isn’t in state ‘established’.
Is it the elapsed time since last state change? Anyone?
BGP established time is how long ago, that the BGP neighbor was established. For example if the link used to reach that neighbor I bounced, and the BGP neighbor re-established 5 minutes, ago, it would reflect an established time of 5 minutes.
