Hello,
I’m coming from Mikrotik’s “The Dude” software and it had a wonderful feature where you could have a central map where you link to other maps and when a device on the linked map went down it would change color so you knew to look at it. I see that you can make links to other maps which works great, but they aren’t dynamic in any way, so I would never know to click on a different location and look when a device goes down. Am I approaching this with tunnel vision just based on the previous software? Is there a way I can accomplish what I’m asking?
Is it the new Custom map feature you are using?
Yes I’m using the custom map feature, I’m not sure how new it is since this is the only version of the software I’ve ever used. Currently any of these individual clients would go red if they went offline, but the upper circles which are links to other maps don’t change color based on what happens on the other maps.Which would force us to use multiple screens if we wanted to use the maps feature to monitor the network.
Try this patch and let me know if it’s what you expect:

git apply gistfile1.txt
Incredible, that works. Thank you so much, best forum experience ever haha.
Ok, I need to submit a pull request and get it merged in. You’ll then need to remove this patch and update. Let me get that sorted later.
This is now merged in so if you’re on the daily release, remove the patch and update.
