How to use check_mk agents to monitoring windows?

As of now you can’t, need somebody to contribute code for it to work with LibreNMS.

I think it would work, for basics like processes etc.

Any idea why not?

Not sure the agent shows the data but librenms doesn’t do anything with the return or maybe doesn’t know how to interpret it?

Has there ever been any headway on this by chance? I’m wanting to monitor a few windows services and I cannot figure out for the life of me the best way to do so. I’m open to any and all suggestions, I’ve installed check_mk on one of my windows host and have verified that I can connect to it via telnet on port 6556. I’ve installed “check_mrpe” on my libreNMS server however it makes zero connection to it for me to monitor any of the windows processes.

HowTo monitor process and services.

  • Install NSCP++ on Windows Server
  • Use check_nt or/and check_nrpe
