Cisco 6509 Polling Time and 99% CPU Usage

Hello, we’ve got a customer running the ageing Cisco 6500 platform at the moment and we’re wanting to add the device to LibreNMS for monitoring until migrations are complete. It’s a Cisco 6509 doing quite a few things still - BGP, OSPF, PVSTP etc.

When we add it to LibreNMS, it takes about 15 minutes to fully poll and the CPU is just maxed out on the SNMP engine process. I’ve disabled some of the modules but still no luck.

Polling is every 5 minutes on this instance of LibreNMS. Does anyone have any advice on what we can do to get SNMP on Libre working with it, without thrashing the CPU? Thanks in advance
