Clickatell SMS-Text transport in US with "from"

Hi LibreNMS community, I’m wondering is anybody in the US successfully using Clickatell as their SMS transport for alerting? And if so I would be most grateful if you would mind sharing how you got it to work?
I cannot seem to get it to work at all, even the “test transport” fails, as it appears that Clickatell requires a “from” number in the US, to be sent in the REST, and it appears that the current Clickatell.PHP only sends out the key and the “to” numbers.

I’ve tested and confirmed the Clickatell account and SMS integration is correct and working by using this URL string, with the correct key and numbers.

(I’ve added the/a from number the the \librenms\config.php and modified the Clickatell.PHP to add the from when send the URL, with no luck at all, then again I don’t really know a lot about PHP, and that’s probably the problem.
Any help, direction, inspiration, thoughts would be very gratefully appreciated.
