I was wondering if it’s possible to differentiate Syslog output information through colouring the row.
I.e, a critical error could be a Black background with a white font. A generic warning would be yellow, or amber. Or a a Notice of a Port up would be Green and a Notice of a Port Down would be Red.
This could vastly improve the time one would need to filter out information needed to go through the logs, or grab one’s attention if a real-time monitoring scenario.
Hi @Memli_Robaj
Completely possible, this information is already stored in the DB. That’s probably a fairly simple change to do, and submit to GitHub as a contribution to LibreNMS.

Pardon my ignorance on this, but how long would it take for this to be implemented?
Also, it would probably be a lot easier if per say, a sort of WYSIWYG editor could be implemented, with a mixture of the layout like the Dynamic Rules in the grouping, to leave the colouring or any sort of output modifications completely to the user rather than have them predefined.
Anybody who feels ready to do, will do it. As it is a simple change, I would suggest that you do it This is usually the fastest way to have something done in a community project.
If you don’t want to do it or cannot, then you’ll have to wait until somebody does it.
