Hello community
Is it possible to configure LibreNMS in a way that ensures each administrator has restricted access to specific devices within their assigned realm?
Administrator has all access in current right management. Standard users can have restricted access to only groups of devices (or devices directly).
Thank you for your answer. Just to confirm, does this mean that there’s currently no built-in way to restrict admins to see only specific devices ?
Right.
Admin has all admin access to librenms. Consider it as root on a linux, or Administrator on a windows. There is no restriction possible on such user.
You have normal users for restrictions.
ok thanks.
No, as others have mentioned, admin is the superuser (admin as role)
You could however, create groups , and assign those users to those specific group of devices. The users will access only those devices, but i guess that would be only to read the values(so just checking what it is displayed so far). They might not be administrators though. Hope this help you ![]()
yes thank you very much, but I’m still wondering if there’s a way to do it, maybe I have to develop this option
