Greetings.
It appears to me that when using the Dispatcher service, the polling of devices is distributed across the full 5-minute polling period (rather than all at the beginning of the polling period as with the cron job polling). Is there any way to configure Discovery to be distributed across the full discovery period similar to polling? Currently I see a bunch of “device:discover” processes at the beginning of each discovery period and then no more until the next discovery period. While Discovery is running, it really hammers the CPUs hard. It would be a lot easier on the CPUs if Discovery could be distributed across the full discovery period. (To be clear, I’m referring to Discovery, not Auto-Discovery.)
