Device-UP/Down Alert

Hi Guys,

I’d today false positive alert on Device-UP/Down Alert , please see my setup, does it mean that it does snmp + icmp check and if it fails one time, it alerts? does it worth to increase value to 3 ?

I really don’t want to sound rude here but are you searching for answers before posting questions? It seems like you’re creating a lot of threads which can be answered by reading the docs or searching past posts on here or github.

I’ve found that it does snmp check, but I didn’t find about value?
if I increase the value to 3 and my cron is running every 1 minute
Does it mean if snmp fails 3 time within 3 minutes, it will report an alert?
