Can a distributed poller receive traps in addition to the “main server”?
Let’s say 5 devices send traps to the main server and another different devices send traps to the poller?
Should work fine as long as one device isn’t sending to multiple trap receivers (i.e main server and a poller) as that will just lead to duplicated data.
Great, the same logic goes for syslog aswell?
Yup. I can’t think of any reasons it wouldn’t work
